Uninstall Ampler

To uninstall Ampler, follow these steps:

1. Close all Microsoft Office applications in which Ampler is enabled.
2. In Windows, open Add or remove programs.
3. Locate Ampler in the list, click the three dots next to it, and select Uninstall.

If Ampler was installed by your IT department, you may not have the necessary permissions to uninstall it. In this case, contact your IT department and ask them to follow the steps above or have them follow this guide: https://ampler.io/guides-and-tutorials/deployment-guide/#uninstallation.

After Ampler has been uninstalled, the user will continue to occupy a seat on your license. You can free up the seat in one of the following ways:

• Wait for our license server to release the seat automatically after 45 days of inactivity.
• Release the seat manually through the Ampler Admin Portal.
• If you use the SCIM integration for user provisioning, remove the user from the assigned group in Microsoft Entra ID. This will release the seat immediately.
