Ampler protects selected cells — or a whole sheet — from a single dropdown, so a model’s formulas and structure can’t be edited by accident.

How to use it
Select the cells, then Protect Cells from the dropdown.
- Select the cells you want to protect.
- Click Protect Cells from the dropdown menu — or protect/unprotect the entire sheet from the same menu.
Protecting cells stops them being edited unintentionally, so formulas and structure stay intact.
Keyboard shortcut
Protect Cells has no default shortcut. To assign one, open the Settings dropdown on the Ampler ribbon, choose Shortcuts, click Set shortcut on the function, and press your key combination.

Native cell protection means unlocking cells, then protecting the sheet with the right options — several steps in different places. Ampler protects the selected cells (or the whole sheet) from one dropdown, so the parts of a model that shouldn’t change are locked quickly.
