Ampler lets you update your license key from the Settings menu — useful when a licence is renewed or reassigned.
Quick answer: Open the Settings menu on the Ampler ribbon, click License, paste in the new key, and click OK.
How to use it

Open Settings, paste the new key, and click OK.
- Click License in the Settings menu on the Ampler ribbon.
- Paste in the license key.
- Click OK.
Ampler validates the key and applies the licence to this installation.
Why use it
A licence key changes when it’s renewed, upgraded, or reassigned to a different user or machine. Updating it from Settings applies the new entitlement without reinstalling the add-in.
Tips & best practices
- Copy the key exactly, with no leading or trailing spaces.
- If the key is rejected, check it hasn’t already been used on another machine.
- Contact your Ampler administrator if you don’t have a current key.
