Ampler adds captions above and/or below an object in Word, so figures, tables, and images carry consistent, labelled captions.

Keyboard shortcut
Caption has no default shortcut. To assign one, open the Settings dropdown on the Ampler ribbon, choose Shortcuts, click Set shortcut on the function, and press your key combination.
Why use it
Labelling figures and tables by hand with a stray text box is inconsistent and breaks when content moves. Ampler’s Caption attaches the label to the object, above or below, so captions stay in place and look the same throughout.
