Ampler Charts lets you save the look of a formatted chart as a chart theme (fonts and series fill and outline colours) in your library, so you can apply it to other charts.
Quick answer: Format the chart, click Chart theme in the chart menu and select Save chart theme at the bottom of the theme list. In the Chart Theme Designer, click Save, choose a name and a library destination, and click Save again.
How to use it
Format the chart, open Chart theme, select Save chart theme, then name and save the theme.
- Format the chart the way you want the theme to look: series colours, outlines and fonts, using the Format menu.
- Click Chart theme in the chart menu and, at the bottom of the theme list, select Save chart theme. The Chart Theme Designer opens.
- Make any further changes in the Chart Theme Designer, click Save, choose a name and a destination in your library, and click Save again.
- The theme now appears in the Chart theme list, under the folder you chose (for example My Local Folder).
The theme is saved to your library, ready to apply to other charts.
When to use it
Save a theme to define your chart colour scheme and font once, in the house or client palette, so every chart can be put on it consistently.
