- Open Microsoft Foundry at https://ai.azure.com/nextgen.
- Click on ‘Build’ in the top menu, and then on ‘Models’ in the left menu.
- Click on ‘Deploy a base model’.
- Choose the desired model.
- We recommend either GPT 5.3 Codex or GPT 5.4, as these models provide a good trade-off between performance and price.
- You can review GPT pricing here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/azure-openai/
- You can review other model pricing here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/ai-foundry-models/aoai/
- Anthropic models are currently in preview by Microsoft and Anthropic and follow the pricing listed here: https://claude.com/pricing#api
- Anthropic models are currently not supported by Ampler, but support will be added soon.
- Deploy the desired model and copy its API key.
- Open Ampler in PowerPoint.
- Navigate to Ampler > Company Settings > Integrations, scroll down to ‘Azure OpenAI’, and fill out the integration settings:
Enter the Azure OpenAI endpoint URL in the API URL field.
It looks like this: https://{resource}.openai.azure.com/openai/v1/responses
where {resource} is your Azure AI Services resource name.
You can find the full endpoint URL on the front page of the Foundry portal or in the Foundry section of the Azure portal at: https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_ProjectOxford/CognitiveServicesHub/~/AIServices
Please note that the endpoint must end with ‘/responses’ when entered into Ampler.
- Paste the Foundry model deployment API key into the API key field.
- Paste the Foundry model deployment name into the Model ID field.
